Dr. S. Renee Maddox is truly an asset to the people that she has helped like me as having physical challenges. I’m legally blind, meaning that I have no sight. Dr. Maddox been a true inspiration and motivator, especially when I was studying for my M.S. in Human Resource Management. There were many times that I wanted to give up but with talking with her she kept me focused and taught me how to just take a moment and reflect on what is going on. I finished school with a 3.25 GPA, and I can tell you if wasn’t for Dr. Maddox I wouldn’t have the 3.25 GPA or maybe not even finished school. I truly applaud Dr. Maddox for how she helped me and knowing that others that she helped as well. Dr. Maddox is truly a gift from God for the people here on earth and I do definitely know that she is heaven sent for me and others. Dr. Maddox is the type of person that shows she truly cares about others and their well-being by inspiring and motivating them to go over and beyond what they think of themselves. I knew this myself when I wanted to throw in the towel; she made me look within myself and say that I really can do it and I did. I thank God and Dr. Maddox for helping me get over the fact that I’m blind and don’t think about what society thinks of you. So now come March I’ll start my studies for my doctorate, and this is due to Dr. Maddox - God’s very own worker. A true Gift from GOD!!! Dr. Maddox, she’s good at inspiring, motivating, and managing people.
